The Australian Government supported the establishment of BASE, a pilot facility for producing mRNA vaccines and therapies for research purposes. Supported by The University of Queensland and Therapeutic Innovation Australia, the BASE facility provides scientists across Australia with access to advanced mRNA technologies.
